Exporters Registry Form
Exporter Registry Form: Essential for Textile and Ready-Made Garment Exports to Türkiye
Exporting textiles and ready-made garments to TURKEY? Turkish authorities now require exporters to complete an essential document known as the Exporter Registry Form. This new requirement ensures compliance with Turkish trade regulations and facilitates a smoother export process.
How to Get Started
To meet this requirement, exporters need to prepare and submit two key documents:
- Exporter Registry Form
- Formal Undertaking Form
If you are unsure how to fill out these forms, our team at the Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TBCCI) is here to guide you every step of the way. Simply email us at info@tbcci.org, and we will ensure the process is straightforward and stress-free.
Certification and Legalisation Process
Once the forms are complete, the next step is certification and legalisation. Here is how it works:
- The TBCCI will certify your Exporter Registry Form, verifying its accuracy and completeness.
- The certified form will then be sent to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) for legalisation.
We handle both steps of this process on your behalf, saving you time and ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements.
What Happens Next?
After certification and legalisation, exporters must forward the completed Exporter Registry Form to their Turkish importer. This step is crucial for customs clearance in Turkey.
Important Notes for Exporters
- Multiple Importers: If you export to more than one Turkish importer, you will need to complete and certify a separate Exporter Registry Form for each importer.
- Ongoing Exports to the Same Importer: A single certified Exporter Registry Form remains valid for 12 months. After this period, you will need to submit a new form and go through the certification process again.
