Document Certification Services
Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the authorised bodies to issue and validate Certificates of Origin, and to certify Exporter Registry Forms, Invoices and other Commercial documents, by the UK Government. TBCCI can complete the whole certification process on your behalf, and recommend you the relevant service providers for the translation and notarisation services. If you request an apostille certificate, TBCCI can initiate the process with FCDO, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and follow up the process until the end for you. For more information about certification, please contact us.
STEPS FOR DOCUMENT CERTIFICATION
- Formal undertaking form has to be filled and signed. You may find the copy of the form here. The person who signs it must be Proprietor, Partner, Director, or Company Secretary. If they will not sign the document to be certified (e.g. exporter registry form, invoices or other trade documents) themselves, then after they sign the Formal Undertaking Form, you should include any other authorised signatory of your company, who will sign the document to be certified, in the form. The full name (not abbreviated) and the title must be printed for each person who signs the form. It should be printed on your company letterhead paper (or have company seal) with the date. All the signatures must be in wet ink.
- The person who signs the document subject to the certification (e.g. exporter registry form, invoices or other trade documents) must be the same person who sign(s) the formal undertaking form. (It can be Proprietor, Partner, Director, or Company Secretary who already signed the Formal Undertaking Form. Or alternatively, it can be any other authorised signatory of your company who already added their name and signature on the Formal Undertaking Form.) The full name (not abbreviated) and the title must be printed for each person who signs the form. It should be printed on your company letterhead paper (or have company seal) with the date. The signature must be in wet ink. The signature should be fit on the first page together with the all the information you give on the form. If it is not possible to fit all in one page with the company letterhead, you can put a company seal/stamp instead of the company letterhead.
- Please email us the scanned copies of both the document subject to the certification (e.g. exporter registry form, invoices or other trade documents) and formal undertaking form for our check before posting us the original documents.
- We will check your documents and proceed with certification and/or legalisation depending on the type of certification services you’ve purchased.
- Upon the certification and/or legalisation, TBCCI offers a Special Delivery Service post by Royal Mail to deliver the certified and/or apostilled documents back to your UK address.
