TURKEY'S 2008 DRAFT BUDGET
The contents of Turkey's 2008 draft budget was submitted to the Turkish Parliament on October 17 and the targets were endorsed by the IMF. It is expected that, as a result of fiscal policy implementation, net public debt which was 45 % of GNP in 2006 is expected to fall below 40% of GNP this year
AUSTRIAN AWARD
TBCCI member Selim Sariibrahimoglu, Sariibrahimoglu Law Office, Turkey, has been awarded the Order of Merit of Austria on September 12th for his contributions to the bilateral relations between Turkey and Austria.
